Wealth is a gift from God that we are called to steward with generosity and joy. If we pursue the world's ideal of happiness through what we gather or consume, we will soon realize that it is an unsatisfying quest, as Solomon did. Contentment is an incredible gift from God. True satisfaction comes from acknowledging that wealth and possessions do not bring lasting joy. When we recognize God's gifts and live in alignment with His will, our overflowing joy will result in a generosity that can change the world around us.
