Joseph faced jealousy from his brothers due to the favouritism that his father showed him. This jealousy drove his brothers almost to kill him and set him off on a journey of suffering. We can learn a lot from Joseph's journey. It illustrates how generational sin and trauma tend to be passed down through families and the importance of recognizing and addressing these patterns to break the cycle. It also teaches us that despite the trials and chaos Joseph experienced, God's sovereignty remained intact. We can trust in God's plan even when faced with challenging circumstances because the journey itself holds value and can play a crucial role in shaping our character and faith if we let it.
