Every city and most towns have at least one bridge, some bridges are over land, some are over water.
They all serve the same purpose, to carry us over treacherous terrain. To move what matters from one place to another.

What if the church is a bridge? Like any good construction, when a bridge is built the foundations and structure take a lot of time and planning. And once the bridge is built, maintaining the bridge is a HUGE task. In order to continue to be reliable and useful, bridges must be constantly and intentionally strengthened. It’s a work that usually happens without anyone noticing. Unless it doesn’t get done. Then everyone notices.
