Amid increasing concern over the Government's policies regarding the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi, the Kīngitanga has declared a national hui, extending an invitation to all, with the aim of promoting dialogue and fostering greater unity on these contentious issues. Over 10,000 people turned up at last weekend in the national hui at Tuurangawaiwai Marae
