The Disinformation Project, established in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, took on the role of determining what was information and disinformation. This became controversial as it raised concerns about the government potentially using the organization to push certain viewpoints. Nick Hanne, Educational Partnerships Manager at The Free Speech Union, joins Andrew Urquhart to explain why the disestablishment of the Disinformation Project is a victory for free speech.
