We all have a predisposition for justice. We want things to turn out good and that evil should never triumph, whether it is stories or events in our lives. Solomon observed thousands of years ago that this is not always the case. Sometimes, wickedness seems to take the place of justice. He reminds us that in the end, God will judge everything that happens. Where does that leave us in the present? We don't control the past, and the future is in God's hands. When we look for God's presence in the now, we can find enjoyment in the moment, no matter how small.
