What is true freedom? Paul defines freedom as being released from the power of sin and its consequences. Just as a slave has no choice but to obey their master, those enslaved to sin have no choice but to follow its desires, leading to death. In Christ, we now have the freedom to choose to offer ourselves to God, serving Him and living a life of righteousness and holiness, which leads to eternal life.
